Supply Pond and Sleeping Giant

Most days after work I hit the Supply Pond...all easy hiking, but nice after work.

Yesterday (5/1/10) Jon and I hit Sleeping Giant...we took the Blue to the 'end' of the trail (it does continue, but this was the end of the Giant Park) and turned around...we took Blue until we got back to the tower, and took tower down.

One fun part of the trip was seeing a Eastern Garter Snake! He started us at first...he was near a bridge and a pond, a pond where mere seconds we were admiring the frogs. Well, when we started back, we knew we'd see our reptile friend again, and we did.....he was eating a frog!! I have never see a snake eating something in the while before...it was really cool.

Good hike all in all.
